Dr. Lord-Attivor has twenty-one (22) years of experience in civil engineering, transportation engineering, transportation planning, traffic engineering, traffic operations, traffic safety, multimodal transportation, pedestrian and bicycle evaluation, traffic signal timing, micro and macro simulation modeling, Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) design, construction management and building construction. He is currently the Chief Engineer at the Department of Permitting Inspections and Enforcement (DPIE) and an Adjunct Professor at the Anne Arundel Community College (AACC), College of Engineering. He has served as the Chief of the Traffic Engineering Design and Planning Section at the Prince George’s Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPW&T). He has been involved with transportation related professional research since 2006 and has five (5) years of building design and construction experience. He’s performed work in Civil, Transportation Engineering and Research pro-jects for various State, Federal, local Government and Municipalities and internationally to help shape and develop policies, determine human behavior and provide livable cities. He has worked on roadway and intersection design projects in various parts of United States. He’s served on various transportation committee and has helped build and develop policy and standards for Federal, State and local Government. Dr. Lord-Attivor is an active cyclist on with various cyclist groups in the United States and Africa.

Mr. Lord-Attivor is an Architect and designer with the passion for energy efficiency and sustainability within the built environment. He believes Architecture and the built environment should always seek to apply creative design principles and solutions that improves lives and educates. He is a UK educated professional in the architecture and sustainability profession. His work experience spans across the high end residential, healthcare, mix use and retail project sector(s). His mission is to always provide solutions that contribute to solving problems and improving humanity. With experience that spans over 10 years in this profession he strives to provide building design that incorporate green infrastructure energy saving techniques and solutions in the building sector. Mr. Lord-Attivor is an active cyclist, serves as the Ghana Cycle international coordinator and part of various cycling groups in the United Kingdom and Africa.
